buildgirls.org, hosted a STEM maker space event with Kid-Museum on March 9, 2025 in Bethesda, Maryland. With with a mission of educating, engaging and empowering high school girls to explore future careers in underrepresented fields – created a STEM Straw Challenge for kids to explore concepts in architecture, construction and engineering while having fun. The goal of the event was to honor and celebrate the achievements of women in the STEM and Maker communities who are shaping the future through innovation and creativity!
